2. Data We Collect

When you use the Classic Curator app and website classiccurator.app, we process the following personal data:

  • Account data: Name, email address (upon registration)
  • Vehicle data: Vehicle details, photos, descriptions, vehicle history, license plate, VIN, insurance data, value information
  • Operational data: Fuel entries, maintenance logs, expenses
  • Issues: Title and description of reported vehicle issues
  • Order data: Name, delivery address, email address when ordering stickers
  • Technical data: IP address, device information (via infrastructure providers)

3. Purpose and Legal Basis

  • Providing app functionality (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – contract performance)
  • Processing orders for physical products (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Sending confirmation and transactional emails (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
  • Operating and securing infrastructure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interests)

4. Public Vehicle Pages

Users may optionally make vehicles publicly visible. In that case, vehicle history, photos, make, model and year are accessible via a personal link and QR code. This is published solely at the user's explicit request and can be revoked at any time.

5. Third-Party Processors

We use the following service providers acting as data processors under GDPR:

Supabase Inc.

Database hosting, authentication and file storage. Server location: EU (Frankfurt). Privacy: supabase.com/privacy

Vercel Inc.

Hosting of classiccurator.app. Privacy: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy

Resend Inc.

Sending transactional emails (order confirmations). Privacy: resend.com/legal/privacy-policy

Apple Inc.

Distribution of the app via the App Store and TestFlight. Privacy: apple.com/legal/privacy

6. Retention

Personal data is deleted once the purpose of processing no longer applies or when the user deletes their account. Order data is retained in accordance with statutory retention periods (10 years under German commercial law).

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
